As part of strengthening the security of your data, we are implementing two-factor authentication.

This will be effective from June 25th, 2025.

What is two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication is an additional security measure that will require you, in addition to your password, to confirm your identity using a second means of identification.

Two options will be available:

  1. Receiving a code by email:
Each time you log in, you will receive a single-use security code in your inbox (email address used for your Scoop.it account), which you must enter to finalize access to your account.
  2. Using an authenticator app.

Configure the authentication app of your choice by scanning the QR code that appears after clicking the Configure button

How to enable two-factor authentication?

As of June 25th, 2025, the default authentication method will be sending a code by email.

You can then change your preferences from your account settings > edit my profile.
